We're Hiring!

We're looking for a part-time Sales Associate to work weekends at our clothing consignment shop in Capitol Hill. At Creature, we strive to create a one-of-a-kind consignment experience. Our goals are to provide excellent customer service, a revolving door of the latest fashion and on-trend vintage, and boutique-level styling and merchandising. The right candidate will have experience in customer service in a fast-paced retail setting and an introductory knowledge of brands and fashion trends. This position requires excellent communication skills, creative problem-solving and the ability to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining an upbeat attitude. 

Sales Associate responsibilities:

  • Welcome, assist, and interface with customers and consignors
  • Support the sales floor, fitting rooms, and checkout processes as required
  • Operate the point of sale system
  • Perform merchandising duties including steaming, folding, and updating displays
  • Manage customer holds and fitting room queue 
  • Monitor store appearance by tidying and dusting
  • Communicate consignment and shop policies with consignors and customers
  • Use our consignor software system to manage inventory and check consignor’s account balances

Qualifications: 

  • Must be available to work x2 8 hour shifts a week
  • Fast-paced retail experience is required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time 
  • Merchandising and styling experience is a plus!
