Consignor Contract

Any of my items that are not taken on consignment, including the bags I brought them in, will be held for 5 days from the date of my consignment invoice email. I agree that any unclaimed items left beyond the 5 day pick-up window will be donated immediately to Lifelong Thrift.

If I choose the option to “donate leftover items” at my drop-off appointment, I agree that any items not taken on consignment will be donated immediately to Lifelong Thrift.

I agree that Creature will use the email information that I provide at my consignment appointment to communicate with me. I agree that Creature is not at fault for notification emails that go to my spam or junk folders.

Consigned items are displayed for 60 days. If an item doesn’t sell within the 60 sale period, I will receive an expiration notice email within one week of my expiration date. I have 5 days from the expiration notice to pick-up my expired items. I agree that any unclaimed items left beyond the 5 day pick-up window will be donated immediately to Lifelong Thrift.

I agree that my items are subject to markdowns of up to 50% if necessary to sell the item. I agree that markdowns can happen at any time during the consignment period, but is typically done one to two weeks prior to the expiration date, and in rare circumstances, sooner due to damage Creature missed when originally pricing my item, or damage incurred on the sales floor.

I agree that there is a 1.5% credit card processing fee deducted from my consignment credit on the total sale of each of my items that is purchased using a credit card.

I agree that Creature is not responsible for items damaged while on the sales floor; items lost due to theft; and items damaged or lost due to fire, earthquake or flood.

By booking an appointment below, I guarantee that all items consigned with Creature are lawfully and entirely owned by me, or that I am acting on behalf of a person(s) who has given me authority to sell such items on their behalf.
